Online legal request platform with automated document generation, 9 institution categories, and instant PDF download — serving all of Ukraine
AdvokatZapyt is an online service that allows Ukrainian citizens to order official attorney requests (адвокатський запит) to any government institution, bank, court, or organization — entirely online, without visiting a lawyer's office. Under Ukrainian law (Article 24, Law on Advocacy), institutions must respond to an attorney request within 5 business days, making it a powerful legal tool.
Before the website, the attorney handled all requests manually — clients called, explained their situation over the phone, the attorney drafted documents in Word, sent them via email for approval, then printed and mailed them. Each request took 2–3 days of back-and-forth. There was no way for clients to self-serve, no organized category system, and no online presence beyond a Facebook page.
We built a full-featured web application on WordPress with: an online order form with dynamic fields based on institution type, an automated document generation system that creates legally formatted PDF documents ready for download and submission, 9 institution categories (government agencies, military units, banks, police/SBU, pension fund, registration services, courts, tax service, migration service) each with specific request types and descriptions, a 5-step visual process explainer, city-specific landing pages for 10+ Ukrainian cities (Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lviv, etc.) for local SEO, a legal blog with articles driving long-tail traffic, transparent pricing (1,000 UAH per request), client testimonials, and an FAQ section addressing common legal questions.
The key technical feature is the document generator — clients fill in form fields (institution name, request purpose, personal details), and the system automatically generates a properly formatted legal document with correct references to Ukrainian legislation, ready for the attorney's signature and submission. This reduced document preparation time from 2 hours to 5 minutes.
Challenge
The attorney processed all requests manually — phone consultations, Word documents, email approvals, physical mailing. Each request took 2–3 days. No online ordering, no self-service, no category system. The only marketing was a Facebook page. Capacity was limited to 3–4 requests per day because of manual document drafting.
