Luotettavimmat Nettikasinot ("Most Trusted Online Casinos") is a Finnish-language casino comparison and affiliate platform built to become the go-to resource for Finnish players looking for safe, licensed online casinos.
The client's vision went beyond a standard review blog — they wanted an interactive platform where users could actively find their ideal casino through tools, not just passive reading. The competitors in the Finnish iGaming space all looked the same: casino lists, review articles, bonus pages. Nobody offered interactive decision-making tools.
We built a comprehensive platform on WordPress with two major pillars: a Content Engine with advanced multi-filter casino search (filter by rating, bonus size, game provider, license type, payment method, and features like live casino, mobile, no-wagering), structured casino review pages, real-time bonus offers with wagering conditions and expiry tracking, category navigation, and a full blog/article system for long-tail SEO. And 4 Custom Interactive Tools — the differentiator: Bonus Calculator (Bonuslaskuri) where users input bonus amount, wagering requirement, and expected win rate to simulate scenarios and estimate profit/loss; Casino Test (Kasino-testi) — a quiz-style matching tool that recommends casinos based on player preferences; Compare Casinos (Vertaile Kasinoita) — side-by-side comparison of 2–4 casinos with features, bonuses, ratings in a structured table; and Favorites (Suosikit) — personal saved casino list using localStorage for cross-session bookmarking.
The design uses a dark iGaming aesthetic with blue/purple gradient accents, data-rich filtering UI, game provider logo carousels, and trust signals throughout.
Challenge
The Finnish iGaming affiliate space is saturated — every competitor has casino lists, reviews, and bonus pages. The client's previous site was a basic blog with no interactive features, no filtering, no comparison tools. Users bounced because they couldn't find relevant casinos quickly. Engagement was low, session duration short, and conversion rates lagged behind competitors with better UX.
