Bloom & Co is a boutique florist in Melbourne, Australia, known for hand-crafted seasonal bouquets. Before the website, orders came exclusively through Instagram DMs and phone calls. The owner spent 3+ hours daily managing orders in a spreadsheet, coordinating delivery drivers via text messages, and manually sending payment links.
Same-day delivery — their biggest selling point — was chaotic. Customers had no way to choose a delivery date, add gift messages, or see real-time availability. During Valentine's Day and Mother's Day peaks, the team was overwhelmed and lost orders because they couldn't scale beyond what one person could manage on a phone.
We built an elegant WooCommerce store with the warm, romantic aesthetic of a premium florist: bouquet collection pages with three size tiers (Standard/Luxe/Grand), gift add-ons (chocolates, candles, handwritten cards), a delivery date scheduler with same-day/next-day options and area-based pricing, a cart with gift message field, and an "Occasions" category system (Birthday, Anniversary, Sympathy, Thank You). The design uses Cormorant Garamond serif for headings and a muted rose palette that matches their Instagram brand perfectly.
